I'm still painting over here. Last week was so chaotic. But this week is already better. Only eleven more days until time to set up for the Gasparilla Art Show.
This morning I took out a little time to spend some great coupons at Michael's and Barnes & Noble Booksellers because today is my birthday. My birthday gift to me is a copy of Pam Carriker's new book, Art at the Speed of Life. I have only had time to flip through it, but it looks like a good one. I'm anxious to try out some of the exercises and tips she provides in it.
Okay, the paint is drying out. Back to the studio.
Happy Happy Birthday young lady:D We just keep getting better....right? Thanks for your comments on my blog......not having those little ones close at hand can really hurt. I am sad for you because a 3 day drive is really far:(

Good morning, when I come visiting and see your work the first thing I always think is....why can't I think like that...well I am not suppose to, it is your way and style and beauty that you share. I find these last two paintings very attractive and one feels drawn to them. A lot to see yet simple and wonderful.

Happy birthday Nelda!! This is a great piece. I love the contrast in the square and the circle.
