This is the post where I apologize to you for neglecting this blog for so long. I am sorry about that. Life has been so hectic the last few weeks. I have been working very hard to prepare my space for the Labor Day holiday. Our garage has become a paint workshop.
After reading the glowing testimonials on several of the DIY blogs, I had to try Annie Sloan Chalk Paint. I painted three large pieces including this French buffet. My experience with ASCP is that it wasn't really that much easier to use than regular paint, HOWEVER...the end results are wonderful, indeed. I especially like the way the Paris Gray and Old White transformed this vintage piece. Many of our customers today were complimentary of it.
After all that hard work, I must admit, it is hard to sell a piece like this. Maybe it will sit there for a long time and I will get to bring it home.
One thing is for sure; I will definitely be using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint again...just as soon as I can save enough money to buy another color.
Nelda....the dresser is fabulous:D Isn't the paint something else? I am surprised you don't find it easier just from the fact that no sanding is required. I have dipped into our savings to buy several colors and really enjoy working with it too....LOL!

Stinkers... no one ever says where they buy that paint. Secrets... not fair. LOL If you show it, you gotta tell it.
It all looks so good. I'm so glad you got the garage cleaned out. :) I want the chandelier. I can't tell how big it is. It is so pretty. Love all that you've done! ...PJ

If coursoe I love everything also and those cups, am a cup fan. I love the paint and that great piece of furniture, I would love it in a big kitchen. I still like to see the kitchen that lined up the furniture of all sorts to make a wall of workspace and cabinets, I find that great. I when a child visited a friend and they had comfy chairs in the kitchen, it was a huge kitchen with large table and chairs and great work space.,
You have been busy, I have also been busy, I can't exactly say doing what just busy. It is all in my imagination maybe.
